Successfully bought a unit of Honor 3C on June 11 and received it the following week before the next flash sale.

Shopping at Superbuy was a breeze and even though I was a first-time customer, I was confident that I would receive my purchase in a timely manner.

I am happy with Honor 3C. It's performance has exceeded my expectations. There are a few quirks about the phone that would make the phone more user-friendly, though.

1) No backlight on soft buttons
2) The Back button is on the left of Home button, so as a right-hander, I keep hitting the Menu button instead
3) Cannot hide rarely used app icons from pages

Other than these quirks, I am enjoying this budget-friendly phone. Am planning to get one unit for my dad as well.

After received the phone and play with the phone for past 2 weeks, mainly on phone call and online thru 3G & wifi. Originally I have very high expectation to the phone features and performance after read thru all the reviews from here and other web pages. But after self experience with the phone and feel not meet as expected.

1. The first issue is the instability of wifi connection. I have another device connected to the same wifi networks and open the same radio streaming apps. The wifi broadband speed is up to 20Mbps for download and upload. Huawei honor 3C has continuous broken connection after 5 minutes while the other device still streaming smoothly. This seriously affected the mood of surfing when the image load very slow and video/audio continue broken.

2. long battery charging. This may be due to large battery capacity but this probably can improve further with charging time.

3. Large battery capacity but only can last for less than a day if compare to Lenovo P780 with 4000mA which can last for at least 2 days with same apps running.

4. camera apps run into "green screen" mode and required re-start.

5. Price is really attractive.

6. Marketing strategy is good with limited stock every open window even Xiao mi did the strategy.

Successfully 'bid' the Honor 3C during the flash sales on 11/07/14. It was posted out on 13/07/14 Friday and received on Monday(2 working days). It is understandable that it was not shipped sooner due to the high volume sales. Prompt reply on email enquiries and Customer service online chat.

As mentioned in many other reviews here, definitely worth the money.
Simple phone for basic usage, calls + messaging + basic apps eg whatsapp,wechat,FB page manager,FB messenger.
What I like most about the honor 3C is that there's no fancy and complicated interface. Very straight forward, user friendly and Simple features!! Apps/tools icons are all on the homepage tabs. So far quite satisfy with the battery life after using for more than 36 hrs.
If were to find 'CONS' about this phone would be the built-in memory-8Gb only. I teach dance classes so I need to store a lot of musics files. But it can be solve by mounting microSD card up to 32gb, provided that the apps/files are movable to the sd card.
All in all, great phone with very very reasonable price.

Bought on 11thJune. Arrived on 16thJune. The phone performs as claimed.
Unless you got nimble fingers DON'T buy the screen protector. I am not aware I have to do it myself and spend an hour messing up the whole thing. Best leave to the pro. Seeing other do is easy until you do it yourself. Finally have to go Low Yat to get the SP fixed - for only 10.00 they do it for you.

Best buy, good value for a good smartphone. The overall quality of the Huawei Honor 3C is satisfactory. The screen is bright and the colour is brilliant. The apps performance is smooth without obvious lagging.

This is a second Honor 3C that i bought, the only thing i can say is , it value every sen i spend on the phone and is very hard to find another model of phone that can comparative in this price range. The Honor 3C is the only phone i need to meet all i need in daily use no matter for work or fun.

When I first saw the phone with 2GB RAM, 5MP front camera, Quad-core CPU, specs only found in expensive flagships, with a price tag of RM499, I was like...... WOW!!

It turns out that it is no monkey business from Huawei, but aggressive marketing effort to dog-fight with others(I think they are ASUS and Xiaomi)

After 2 weeks of usage, let me tell my story and you decide if the phone is right for you.

Well, the most frequently used part of a smartphone is the screen.

The display, comes with 5 inches LCD LTPS technology, 1280*720 resolution and 294 PPI. It is indeed capable of display image vividly thanks to vibrant color it shows, from looking straight to almost 180 degree, yes even in almost 180 degree viewing angle, there is no obvious color distortion. Text display is crispy clear thanks to 294 PPI(Pixel Per Inch) density. From my experience, anything below 200 PPI will result in unpleasant screen display of graphics and texts, pain to the eye!

Seem like we can give 10 points for the display. Yes?

Alass......the downside is, the screen glass is very prompt to finger prints! Hence, a screen protector is a must have for the phone which doesn't equip with Corning Gorrilla Glass, perhaps to reduce their production cost. Also, outdoor display during sunny day is so so, not bad, not good. But consider the price tag, I can't complaint too much.

So my personal score for display is 8/10.

Next come the 8MP main and 5MP front camera. To date, I can't find a good budget phone with 5MP front camera. Very good, not just for selfie addicts but excellent for video chat as well, if you don't mind the other side to see your pimples.

10/10 here for 5MP with a low-end price.

The 8MP main camera can take fairly good pictures under enough light. Pictures are life-like. However it pales in image quality under low light condition, there are quite grainy but not serious. Besides, the video recording somehow shaky, enabling stabilizing mode results in even more shaking recording. Software doesn't help here.

Not too good, not too bad, 8/10 for main camera.

Let's inspect the hardware.

Running 1.3Ghz with 4 physical CPU cores plus 2GB RAM, scoring Antutu benchmark of 17K++, so far I don't notice any lag in daily tasks as well as hardware demanding 3D games. In fact, it is very smooth. Actually, 2GB RAM is unusual in budget phones range, I think Huawei is opening the door for standard 2GB RAM for all coming low-end budget phones, I mean the future budget phones will most likely equip themselves with at least 2GB RAM, thanks to Huawei!

Kudos for leading the standard and smooth run of the phone, 10/10 points!

The design-wise, battery life, mobile and wifi signal strength, software UI, I do have mixed feeling with them. One thing I appreciate the most is the excellent wireless signal strength, seem the advertised "better signal" is no bullshit. Battery life is very good with 2300mAh, watching HD movies, playing some games, web surfing with WiFi on......etc. can last me about 6 - 7 hours non-stop heavy use with brightness to 80%.

The over all design doesn't look plasticky, but a bit dull and boring, Huawei should learn from ASUS in this regard. And one thing I have to complain is lack of back-lit for capacitive buttons(the soft keys), it is no problem for the young ones but may not convenient for atuk or nenek.

Ok, for atuk and nenek, the phone comes with a "elder theme", big fonts, large icons, easier to navigate around......etc.

Seem like Huawei is trying to catch everyone attention with 5MP front camera for 16 something selfie addict teenage girls, up to uncles, aunties with long-sightedness.

But wait... there are room for those gadget enthusiasts or tech geeks as well.

Trust me, with the hype created around this phone, you will see active forum threads for the users of Honor 3c, to discuss custom ROM flashing, problems faced, sharing of themes online, and many many that will surely add extra excitements alongside having a high-end specs phone with low-end price!

For this overall internal portion of the phone, I will give 9/10, minus 1 point for boring design and no back-lit soft-keys.

Finally, let me see if it can score 5 stars.

5mp CMOS front camera with beauty level selection and a smaller inset window to ensure perfect selfies is the smartest invention ever! I am an instant selfie-freak!
The 5” crisp and vibrant display, 2GB of RAM and Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor keeps my eyes and hands super-glued as browsing is now effortless, fast and a delight! No doubt there are some cons such as 8GB ROM, OS jellybean and slightly soft speaker, but I must say the pros far outweigh the cons in this case! If you are still contemplating to get one, just get it! This phone supersedes all phones in its price range in the current market! It is definitely worth buying!

This review is meant for those who are looking for real opinion and comment about the phone from a real user. Well honestly speaking, I was previously using another high-end smartphone and very unfortunate, the phone’s screen is cracked, so I bought this Honor 3C to replace my old phone. I’ve been using this phone for more than 1 week now. Below is my review on the phone.
Battery life: Overall, I’m really satisfied with the battery life of Honor 3C, I can easily squeeze out 7 hours of battery life with heavy usage from its 2300 mAh battery. Used heavily means intensive Facebooking, Instagram, internet browsing and photographing while play a couple of games and watch some videos occasionally. I will make 2-3 short calls and sending 10-20 SMSs per day. My phone is set to auto brightness, auto-sync with 5 active e-mail accounts and phone’s data is enable all the time with 1 3G sim card inserted. I’m confident that the phone can run all day long for normal user with moderate usage.
Performance: Overall, the phone is buttery smooth and no lagging even several applications are opening in background. App opening speed is fast while games loading speed is normal. Able to play Asphalt 8 without any issue. Web browsing (Google Chrome) is as smooth as my previous phone without any lagging or crash even with more than 10 tabs running. Antutu benchmark score? I get a score of around 17000+/- just as advertised.
Camera: nowadays, taking pictures had become a part and parcel in our daily life especially for the Gen Y like me. I would say, it performs very well, it takes better pictures than my previous phone. Pictures taken with its rear camera is sharp, colour is natural and features super-fast burst shot. Operational wise, you can set it to touch to capture or smile capture and it also features HDR shot. For video recording, I recorded a few videos, its sound is a bit low, but the stabiliser work flawlessly, you get smooth and stable video. It features touch to focus and capture while recording function that are very useful to me. One thing I do not like about the camera is, the camera will sound everytime I take picture. Next is Selfie, its 5 MP camera really shine here, pictures are sharp and clear, no more post-processing needed. What’s more? It features beauty shot by default, which enhance every selfie picture taken with Honor 3C.
Connectivity: let’s start with WiFi reception that is really strong, to illustrate how strong it is, I would like to give a real example from my experience. I usually get 1 bar out of 4 bar for WiFi signal from my previous phone, but with Honor 3C, I get 3 bar at the same place inside my room. I can feel the different instantly. Next is 3G signal. This is the first time I get a 3G signal from my hometown, which is located at very weak 3G coverage location, it is pretty awesome. For Bluetooth connection, I am able to send/receive files and connect to a Bluetooth speaker. Lastly, GPS connectivity, which is strong, accurate and get locked to the satellite pretty quick. Lastly, its build-in DLNA function also work well with my smart TV, I can easily stream media to my TV, and it is working just fine.
Entertainment: this phone features music player, video player, YouTube player and FM player out of the box. For video player, it might not be able to play all the video file you throw into the phone, but there are tons of free video player apps that can be found from Play Store. Next, DTS sound effects greatly enhance the overall listening experience both through speaker or earphone. But the speaker sound is not that loud but it is acceptable.
Display: for display, though the 5 inch HD display on the Honor 3C is not the best in the market, but overall it’s a very capable display. The images are sharp, the color pop, the viewing angle is superb and even better than many 5-inch display out there. Another plus for this display is that it work very well under direct sunlight. Its recent update that enable user to tune the colour temperature is a nice addition to the phone.
Final words: to end this review, I would like to thanks Huawei for making this super value-for-money smartphone. At the price tag of RM 499, many will believe it’s just another low specs and low quality phone, but Huawei proved to me that its smartphone is high in quality and better in specs. I would say, I really enjoy my experience using Honor 3C, I do not need to worry about blurry and dim selfie, I do not need to worry about memory problem as I can add on a micro SD card, I also do not need to bring my power bank all the time as what I experienced before. In short, my life become more colourful with Honor 3C. Honor to be a Huawei Honor 3C user. So, for those who are tight in budget or would like to step into the smartphone world, Honor 3C is definitely your first choice. Buy with confident, use with happiness.

Did someone says the Huawei Honor 3C is RM499 from Superbuy? No way man !! not for its upper mid-range spec of 5" 720x1280 pixels LTPS screen and 8GB internal memory with 2GB RAM...& the camera.. believe it or not its a f/2.0 4cm micro lens.. if i were to buy a similar spec lens for my Nikon DSLR... i would probably go a liquid porridge diet for the next year or so to afford it... but but it did not stop there,,, the front camera is a whopping 5mp (YES!! 5mp) with a f/2.4 lens... which leaves me one big problem.. a selfie of meself would definitely chase away many... ugly ugly me..yurks..

My Huawei Honor 3C (Titanium Grey) Review
I purchased this phone from the Superbuy website a couple of weeks ago (great communication and kudos to the delivery team) and this is what I have to say:

1. Great Display, Great Price. The first thing that surprised me when I turned on the phone is the brilliant display and vibrant colours of the screen. The LTPS technology truly drives this phone ahead of its competitors within its price (RM499-seriously?).

2. Emotion-ally Friendly. The Emotion UI included in this phone is a welcomed experience. Users making their exodus from other software platforms will find this phone easy to navigate whereas Android loyalists will feel at ‘home’, with a hint of fresh air injected into it. Without too much clutter of unwanted apps pre-installed in this phone, novice and experts can appreciate what has been done with this phone. You can personalize the phone from changing the widgets, wallpaper, themes, and even icons. I personally recommend the ‘Journey’ theme that comes pre-installed in this Honor 3C.

3. Swipe, Push, Repeat. When I found out this phone comes with 2GB of RAM, I knew I had to get it. The quad core processor does not disappoint as well. Apps load quickly. It may not be the fastest phone on the planet (in terms of responsiveness) but relative to the price I am pleasantly impressed.

4. Everything’s Connected. It works like it’s supposed to. WIFI signal is strong. I was still connected to my home’s WIFI even outside the house. 3G is super good too. I was able to download files with an average speed of 256kb/s. Call quality is normal. Feedback sound is minimal. Files can be transferred via Bluetooth, WIFI, and USB port.

5. Sounds Legit. The rear speakers provide an average aural experience. Don’t expect this to be your concert quality speakers. Thus, I suggest you plug in your earphones, transfer some Progressive Rock music into your Honor 3C and do your best air guitar improvisation to get your heart pumping. Or just go to the gym.

6. Let Me Take a Selfie. An 8 Megapixel rear camera is a norm in the smartphone world these days. But when you have 5 Megapixel wide view front camera, everyone will immediately notice. I still cannot comprehend how Huawei was able to fit this feature without selling this phone for a premium price. Picture quality is decent, with plenty effects and settings you can tinker with.

Conclusion: This is a solid mid-range phone that’s truly above its class. Crisp display, responsive, and user friendly, it really gives more bang for your ringgit. Sound quality can be improved, but honestly I’m not that bothered.

The phone's camera is impressive at such price range. Performance wise is decent and smooth in general.

Even though the app drawer is removed which is unlike real android experience, the Rom is otherwise quite well thought.

Double-tab to wake and other motion gesture are good to have. But the pocket detection could be overlooked as the phone can wake up by itself in the pocket with the motion gesture turned on, making such nice features can't be fully utilised.

Restrict apps to start during boot is nice, as in some phones this needs root access to perform.

Overall, I would recommend this phone to everyone who is looking for a budget friendly low-mid range phone. It worths every sen of RM499.

I bought this Huawei Honor 3C @ RM499 at the time I don't actually need a phone. Just because of the price tag of the phone is so low but packed with top notch hardware, this makes me couldn't resist to grab one home immediately!!

First, I'll tell you what made me bought it:

1. 5MP selfie Cam and 8MP Rear Cam, This combination is insane for its price tag! One does not simply get a smartphone with 5MP front Camera that even most current flagship models don't! This selfie cam paired with beauty touch is extremely good for selfie shot! *Snap* Yeah~ I am so much younger now (Its Time to change my facebook profile pic with this selfie shot I took with Honor 3C and attract more ladies out there)

2. 1.3Ghz Quad Core Processor and 2GB RAM! This combination is no jokes! Gaming is great! Multitasking is Great! Even Multi-stalking facebook profile is never been so smooth! The main highlight here is the 2GB RAM, this amount of RAM will last you a few more years despite apps memory consumption will be getting heavier in the future. Just watch, those devices with 1GB RAM will be chocking for more RAM soon...

3. Awesome network connectivity! Since Huawei is good at making networking devices, a good networking hardware on this phone makes everything fast and silky smooth since recently there is a lot of grabbing of online limited deal where your connectivity plays an really important roles!

4. 5" Display with 294ppi?! OMG! At this price tag I still got this pixel density instead of those lousy 22Xppi! Also unexpectedly viewing angle was great, brightness was also good especially for outdoor!

5. Light weight and refined built quality made carrying this phone doesn't feel like a brick in your pocket, but premium on your hand. Collect all color available for back cover and change it daily, this will make people feel you have so many phones!

Errrheemmm no more stereotyping please! Who says Made in China is never a good thing? Huawei prove them wrong!

Super quality phone at crazy low price. LCD very bright even under sun light. LCD colour very natural and ultra sharp. Ringtone speaker a little high pitch(no bass and less mid sound). GPS signal locking very fast and quite a number of satellites signal can received more than 40db.
Wifi and mobile network signal quite strong.
Camera quality very good.

Huawei Honor 3C is simply awe-inspiring! I have been fiddling around with it for the past few days and am absolutely loving it!

The first thing I've noticed is its responsiveness to my commands. The snappiness owes a lot to the generous 2GB of RAM and Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor. Then, there's the camera - 8MP BSI sensor rear and 5MP CMOS front! It's fast and crisp even in low light conditions. Also, the Emotion UI 2.0 is very beautiful and user friendly. The LTPS IPS 5-inch screen is sharp and has wide viewing angle. It's also very thin at only 9.2mm. Battery lasts the whole day with medium workload. And all these goodness are packed into just 140g of materials! Another thing that must be said is how fast and strong its wifi signal is! Comparing side by side, it totally left its competitors in the dust! Wow!

Who says quality must come with a heavy price tag? Huawei's Honor 3C has disproved that notion. At RM499, it's not only a bargain, it's a steal! I can finally say: the Honor is all mine!! I purchase Huawei Honor 3C for my wife as her phone is quite aging and some buttons are not working (3 years phone)

After using for 5 days, she's very happy with her new phone. The 2GB of RAM given her smooth performance for daily task such as whatsapp, facebook, twitter, email and she loves to play candy crush.

Charging the phones using original charger that comes in the box also fast. I often borrow her charger to charge my sony xperia zr.

The camera is quite good, but not in low light area. The back light LED is very bright, maybe to capture image in low light condition, we need to turn on the back light LED.

I asked her about over heating, she's replied that the phone is not warm if using normally. But if she's play the games and charging at the same time, the phone get a bit hot. But my xperia zr is worst as it become warm after i using facebook around 15 minutes.

overall we are satisfied with this phones!

I am satisfied with the performance of this phone in term of the speed, the UI designs, and the battery performance.

I use it mainly for social networking, email, web browsing, Skype calls, and light gaming. So far, the Quad Core 1.3GHz with 2GB RAM never failed me. Besides, I have to give a thumb up for the voice call quality, it is much more clearer than my previous phone where I spent thousand for that.

The phone comes with three different aesthetic themes and many transition options. These allowing users to choose the layout according to their feelings. Personally I love the beach with a kayak boat theme, it gives holiday feeling to me! Of course, I hope to see more themes which can be downloaded from Huawei :)

Currently, I charge once and at the most twice a day if I use it for continuous gaming and calls. Nevertheless, the charging speed is fast. I can continue to enjoy the phone without long wait.

The obvious place to start with when reviewing this phone is the price. So to get that out of the way, yes, its cheap. 'Push everyone out of the way to grab one' cheap. If that's your only consideration, then just buy this. You will not find similar specs at this price anywhere else.

Speaking about specs, don't expect an S5 here. Yes, it's quad-core, and it feels reasonably snappy to use. Applications open fast and you don't get much lag even when multiple apps are opened one after another. The 8GB model should be enough if you don't use much media (photos, videos), otherwise you'd have to get a micro-SD card.

The camera is decidedly mid-range, though. 8 MP may not mean much to the average consumer, so I'll just say its about 50% as good as that of the Samsung S5 or iPhone 5s. Which is not to say its bad, its just that the difference is quite obvious. Perfectly suitable for most photography, though.

The dual-sim capability works smoothly, but do take note that this means you can't use most third-party dialers and/or SMS apps, which is a pain for me having gotten used to a 3rd-party app. The Huawei app is pretty good though.

The screen is a major plus point for this phone, especially at the price it's at. It's just really, really sharp, and watching movies should be a joy (I haven't done it as 8GB isn't really very big, get a micro-SD for that).

Don't expect much in terms of battery life, especially if you're using dual-sim as it seems to take quite a bit more battery. Also, not many cases are yet available, especially if you're looking for better protection than just a slab of plastic.

In conclusion? Buy it, it's cheap! Clear limitations in the space, camera, and battery, but the screen is great, the phone is snappy, and it's cheap. Value for money, I would not buy any other phone under a thousand ringgit, and plenty of phones higher than that price (for example, the old Samsung Galaxy S3) don't really measure up to this phone.

I am a first time user of Huawei.

Bought it becos of the incredibly low price and dual SIM.
After using for a week +, my comments are as follows :-

Nice phone, bright and sharp screen. Daylight visibility is good.

Battery life is so so. I have to charge it 2-3 times daily with reasonably light usage of some calls, IM, and the only games that I play is Candy Crush + Hay Day. Comparing this with S4 and iPhone 5S, this amounts to 1 extra time that I have to charge daily (same usage pattern).

Voice calls are clear and without any complaints.

Speaker volumn is quite soft. I dont listen to music but on ringtones, notifications and alarm - the volumn can be low enough for these not to be heard inspite of full volumn setting. Settings for volumn is grouped into 4 groups ie Music, Video, Games, & other media + Ringtone & Notifications + Alarms + Voice Calls.
Thus, if we need a loud Ringtone but do not wish to have a disturbing Notifications - not possible.

GPU performance is quite acceptable (jerky graphics even on Hay Day) given the low price. (My Antutu X score was 17,200)

The phone has hanged a few times during this 1 + week. mostly on browser - I got a black screen.

Sim card ejection is quite poor. You use something sharp eg a bent paperclip or toothpick to push the SIM card out. The max is about 6 mm. Then it becomes a bit of a problem to pull the SIM out esp with fat fingers. a spring loaded SIM slot wins anytime.

On playing Hay Day,the phone get hot on the back lower left side (in portrait orientation)near where the external memory card sits.

The back cover is just smooth plastic and is very slippery.

In conclusion, this is a very very good budget phone. The above comments/criticism were to let other potential buyers of my experience. Not really a deal breaker.

I would definitely rate it a good buy (I bought 2 units) and will buy more as gifts.

I was Huawei Honor user before until it stolen, one thing i can say about this product is SUPERB.

The Honor 3C represents true value for money, it really exceeds all expectations when it comes to cheap pricing.

It's light and slim. Vivid clear 5"HD display with 1280×720 pixels. Beautiful Emotion UI Launcher. Swift response, with Quadcore and 2GB RAM capacity all the apps and games perform smoothly effectively, there are no noticeable lags at all.

Decent 8MP camera with features such as autofocus, touchfocus, face detection, LED flash, geotagging and also capable of shooting Full HD videos. The most I like is the 5MP secondary camera, perfect for a selfie addict. The GPS works well. Amazing battery life, gives enough power that I can go through a full day of moderate to heavy usage.

The only little disappointment is the Back key set on the left because I'm used to the right.

This phone is awesome. It is impressive how Huawei managed to offer this kind of spec with this price. Now everyone can enjoy a taste of a flagship phone with very affordable price. The LTPS IPS screen is gorgeous with bright and vivid colors. The quad core CPU with 2GB RAM handles everyday usage without a hiccup. Gaming was a blast. The battery can easily last the whole day with some to spare. The 5mp front camera took great selfie pictures. It is really nice to hold. Very light for a 5 inch phone. Great for the ladies. This phone is incredible. Phone processing is fast due to the 2G RAM and Quad-core processer. With Huawei customise UI, the interface is nice and smooth. Besides that, i had compare the wifi receive performance is much better than my ipad mini and htc phone. i really wish to get one to replace my old phone.

With the fantastic price for 5" inch HD display and Quad core 1.3Ghz Processor, the Huawei Honor 3C can run all apps very fast, even the big games with the lots of RAM.


Pros: 5MP front camera for perfect selfies, 3G up to 42mbps download speed, Dual simcard without the need to carry two mobile phones, 2300mAh long lasting battery capacity, latest Emotion UI 2.0, 8MP Rear Sony BSI camera with flash allows you to capture photos in low light, and it may control overheated through LTPS- Low Temperature Poly Silicon (High resolution with lower power consumption).

Cons: It doesn't have an FM Radio, but it's still no problem because I'm sure that not all prefer to listen radio from a phone instead of their car or Hifi stereo.

I am using Huawei P1 all the while and I am impress with it simple and stability. Then I decided to upgrade and still consider Huawei brand. Frankly the spec of Honor 3C really impress me with it price which the key point to trigger me to upgrade even it is more bulky than P1. For the spec, no point to repeat again, let me review the battery life, the battery is approximately 1.5 to 2 days for me with data turn on with average usage and WIFI-hotspot after work. For the camera, it meet my average expectation. Overall, I rate it 5 star for value for money with great spec before I consider upgrade again.

Huawei Honor 3C Fantastic value for money. Been using this phone for the past week. For sure i wouldnt mind buying more of this for gifts. It's full of features and so far no slow down in the phone and i seriously doubt that it will slow down. Have had many other smartphones of well known manufatcurers but This ones beast most of them hands down. It can easily run head to head with notable brands priced at RM1,500 and above and still win in terms of specs and speed.

I LOVE Huawei Honor 3C very much because Huawei Honor 3C equipped with a 5-inch 1280×720 LTPS display which Huawei claimed has a pixel density of 315 ppi. In terms of photography, Huawei has included an 8-megapixels BSI sensor by Sony into Honor 3C’s rear camera together with a F2.0 28mm lens and blue glass filter. For selfie-related operation, the responsibility lies on Honor 3C’s 5-megapixel front camera and its F2.4 22mm lenS.

Marvelous, thats was the first word coming to my thought for this review. This phone capability beyond its price, everybody surround me keep asking about my phone, they always ask what brand of this phone. Although they not really known huawei brand, but from the look of the phone, they guest the price should be around 1k. Now everyone of my friend eagerly waiting for 3.08pm. Good luck to them.

A device for everyone... Surface wise, Very stylish with full black front and the back cover comes with 6 colours. The one I have is Grey (very dark grey). Looks very nice. feels solid, does not feel cheap at all and is surprisingly light. I had a Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro i-8552 before buying this phone. In the pocket, the Samsung feels heavy but he Honor 3C made me felt that I forgot my phone somewhere. There are times that my phone is in my side pocket and I thought I left it somewhere.

Specifications wise, I think most people know that It packs a MediaTek Quad Core 1.3 GHz processor, a whooping 2GBs of RAM, a 2300mAh battery with amazing sleep time and great on screen time. The front camera spots a 5MP camera with built in Beauty mode which is ideal for selfies. This is proven because in the past no one wants to use my phone for selfies but now, my female friends always take away my phone and take selfies with their frens. The back camera (main camera) spots a 8 MP camera which I feel is very nice. It performs very nicely in low light and takes good pictures. The internal memory (ROM) is 8 GB, but with a microSD slot, there is no hassle or worries at all with space problems. Antutu benchmarks for my phone is almost 17000, making it a very good value for the price of only RM 499. Huawei claims that the antenna for WiFi and 3G is boosted up and I had to agree with them. For instance, I live in Danau Kota, KL where it is an area FULL of Condominiums and A lot of high rise concrete buildings. I use Digi and Always have problems with weak cell reception and a lot of dropped calls. I got fed up until I saw the advertisement of Huawei Honor 3C. I bought it because of the boost in signal reception and it really works! I can now even make phone calls without any dropped calls and the reception and line strength both increased to acceptable levels.

User experience wise, I love this phone, the processor is placed somewhat at the middle part of the phone body, making playing graphics intense games comfortable as heat is not felt at both top and bottom ends in landscape modes. Even in portrait modes, I cannot feel the heat of the processors as well. The UI is very nice and overall UI is silky smooth with no lag at all. Battery life for my light usage can reach 3 days for a single charge. I tried to play a 720p movie and the battery reached 7 hours with no problems with volume at medium. and brightness at around 40%. The screen shows accurate and vibrant colours. Web Browsing is smooth as well with virtually no lag at all unless the internet speed is not good.

Overall, I am very pleased with this device for this price tag of RM 499. I love it very very much and would certainly recommend my friends to buy this phone.

I have received the Huawei Honor 3c for 1 weeks ago, here are some point that my feeling to this device.

1.The Screen
This phone has a touch-sensitive 5.0 inch screen which as a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, the viewing angles and the color are pretty good.

2.The Hardware Design
The honor sky blue packaging box looks simple and fresh. The phone design is simple, light weight body , removable battery and memory expansion options are good for me.And the removable plastic back can let user change the color and mood everyday. The button very solid.
The 2300mAh battery is enough for me in one day use.

3.Camera
This phone offer a high megapixel camera(front 500MP,back 800MP), but the image quality is not really good(I'm comparing with the same price range device - Xiaomi Red Mi). Even Red Mi just have a 500MP back camera, but the image quality is much better than honor 3c. The front camera have a awesome function for the user who like selfie, when switch to front camera mode, a window will display on top right corner to remind user look at there to catch the blink eyes, the front camera also provide a beauty mode for selfie.

4.SYSTEM / UI
When I received it on first time, it runs Android 4.2.2 with a layer of Huawei Emotion UI 2.0. That I have to say, the Emotion UI is very UGLY! So that, I recommend to use other launcher for this phone, such as MiUI. I have try to use Apex and Nova launcher, both also good in this device.

Lastly, Huawei honor 3c offers great performance and beautiful specs for a lower price, considering the totality of things, the price tag and the spec will tell you it is very value for money!!

Exceeding Expectation - A true traveler's phone.

I bought this phone in hope to be used as a traveler's phone. Below are what I thought of the phone:

- Extremely value for money
- Good build quality and light weight. Only 140g
- Bright screen, can be used under the extreme sun light. Excellent while on the move. Great colour reproduction. Pleased on the eye.

- Nifty build in apps: network managers that control apps that can access networks. Phone manager that can optimise phone system to save more battery percentage while still in remote travel location.

- Dual sims. One support hsdpa, another up to edge. Fantastic during travel, can slot in local sim. You can pick which sim to be used for data.

- GPS works well.
- No lag. 2GB ROM works very well.
- Camera works well as second backup camera.

- Better than average batt life. Last 1.5 days with broadband and wifi Internet connected.

- Loud speaker is good enough and can be used as speakerphone without issue.

- DTS effect for audio. Sounds impressive if used together with better pair of earphones .

- Huawei cloud plus - comes in handy to synchronise contact, backup photos, call log and other data, locate phone function. Useful esp during travel. Data backup is auto executed when phone is connected to a power supply and wifi network.

All in all, it is very value for money.

The phone itself is using mid-tier spec but at the price of low end smartphone! running high graphic game like Asphalt 8 is a breeze. Smooth UI and speedy phone. Really not disappointed with this phone despite my initial scepticism.

You cant find anywhere on this earth a smartphone with quad core processor, 2gb ram, 5" display with approx 294 ppi and high quality rear Sony BIS camera for RM499. for those out there who love doing selfie, the 5mp front camera is wide and very selfie-friendly. After using it for few days, i can't see there's any other reason to buy any other smartphone, RM499 for a 2GB Ram, 5", 5MP front facing camera, 8MP back camera, it's really a no brainer, for the 1st time in my live, I don't need to use my "brain" to evaluate a phone before buying.

After using it, my wife who's using iphone 4, and and after seeing it, immediately fall in love and change to this one, so me and my wife now using this unit, we have made up our mind that, if every 6 month huawei can come up with and upgraded honor 3C, we will just keep changing, instead of spending money buying some expensive flagship which is not much different, now here come my sister, after she saw it, she change to this one, another sister saw in, change to this one, my uncle saw it, change to this one, so nearly everyone around me change to this units which is "brainless" decision. Lucky not many people can touch and see it, as 1st unit take me some risk as never seen before, else with most of the sold out for each time, too many people compete to grab it. And for the next round, I am helping more than 12 more friends waiting for the sales of RM499 to buy again. I can only say, this one is just Super Worth at Superbuy.
